Don’t Miss BCPAC’s “The ‘Philly’ Legends of Jazz ‘Tenor Battle’” on April 14, 2012

For its 34th performance season finale, BCPAC has specially arranged for three Philadelphia jazz legends to gather with three other amazing jazz performers for a rare, smoking hot jazz performance in Yardley, PA.  This possibly once-in-a-lifetime event, sure to be a packed house, starts at 7:30pm on April 14, 2012, and is at the historic Yardley Community Center, 64 South Main Street, Yardley, PA, 19067. 

Featured in an ‘old school’ tenor battle will be tenor saxophone legends Bootsie Barnes and Larry McKenna.  Adding to the excitement is Philadelphia guitar legend Jimmy Bruno.  Matthew Parrish, acoustic bassist, provides the ‘anchor’ for the group, as John di Martino amazes the crowd on BCPAC’s Steinway grand piano.  The drummer is TBA, but will surely be a rhythmic sensation handpicked by this event’s organizer, Matthew Parrish.

BCPAC strongly urges that tickets be purchased in advance.  Any remaining tickets will be sold at the door.
